No idea on my car. As hot as our brakes get, I think it’s worth paying attention to, though.
Since his car is track-only now, you might try PMing msendit to see if he’s had his out and examined them.
When my E36 race car needed fresh wheel bearings, the shop would disassemble them and re-pack them with Red Line CV-2 high-temperature bearing grease. That car’s brakes didn’t get particularly hot.
