Starting with a Gallardo as its base, the Monterossa shares very little with its donor vehicle. The overall look is more in line with a concept car, with angular styling and intricate styling details. With the bright red paintwork and gorgeous forged carbon fiber, the unique design has a resemblance to the KTM X-Bow track day special.
At the rear, you’ll find a carbon diffuser and… little else. DRVN Concepts have clearly gone for a minimalist approach, with the Lamborghini’s 600-horsepower V10 motor and suspension components exposed to the elements. While it’s certainly more striking than a ‘regular’ Gallardo, style wasn’t the main reason behind the design – reducing curb weight was the goal. In his walk-around video of the car, YouTuber Speed Phenom notes the mass sits around 2,800 lbs. The vehicle retains its all-wheel-drive layout.
